A  2.5" DOLL

This little doll measures just 2.5" high.

Her dress is 1.5" from neck to hem.

Her bootees are just 3/16ths" high.

I used no. 80 crochet cotton 

and no. 20 knitting needles.

TRISH SYER (Kennard)

I was at a Meeting recently and happened to get talking about dolls (surprise, surprise!)

The lady I was talking to, who lives in the same town as I do, spent a lot of her childhood in Southern Africa.

It turned out that she knew Trish Syer (Kennard) personally, as they lived in the same street, in a place called "Christon Bank" which is approximately 30 miles outside Harare, Zimbabwe.  The region is famous for it's' oranges.  Trish is currently living in Oxford, England.

My friend also has a few of Trish's dolls.  (It's a small world!)
