MY VISIT TO SENEGAL

I have just returned from Gambia.

My camera broke down towards the end of my holiday.  I think the poor thing was over-worked!  I now have to wait until my new camera arrives by post before I can put any of my Gambian pictures on the blog.  

I managed to find some interesting dolls in Gambia which I will add here as soon as possible.

When I was there I couldn't resist going to Senegal, as it was so close!  Below are some photos taken by my friend, Chris.

INDIA, ISRAEL, MALAWI AND DENMARK DOLLS

On this blog I am listing dolls from INDIA, ISRAEL, MALAWI and DENMARK.

They are Gujarati tribal dolls, a Bedouin doll from Israel, carved tribal doll/figures from Malawi and a Denmark doll from Copenhagen.

My camera has finally given up.  I think the poor thing has been over-worked!  Living where I do I have to wait for it to come by post.  I will then have to practise with it before listing new dolls from my latest trip!

DOLLS FROM NAMIBIA, TOGO AND HUNGARY

Today I am adding dolls from NAMIBIA, TOGO and HUNGARY.

These are all hand made dolls, Namibia and Hungary being made of cloth, and Togo, hand carved wooden dolls which were purchased in a Voodoo Market in Togo.
