MY VISIT TO MACEDONIA and DOLLS FROM MACEDONIA

I have recently returned from MACEDONIA where I purchased a few dolls.  They represent the regions of Galicnik, Ohrid and Mariovo.
They all have vinyl bodies.  Although the costumes on these dolls are nicely made, and colourful, I was unable to find any handmade dolls.
As always, for more pictures, and more information about these dolls, please see the website.  Thank you.

I have also added a few photos of Macedonia (as some of my followers like to see where I have been).

MY VISIT TO ALBANIA (and DOLLS from ALBANIA)

I have just returned from a visit to ALBANIA and MACEDONIA.  I was able to find some dolls there and would have loved to have purchased more, but my suitcase was not big enough!  (I will have to go back again!).

I only saw vinyl dolls there, but the costumes are interesting and they are pretty and colourful.  (They don't seem to make handmade dolls the same these days).
Today I am listing the few ALBANIA dolls I purchased, and I will list the MACEDONIA dolls as soon as possible.
I also found just one doll in Albania, which is dressed in the costume of KOSOVO.

ALBANIA is a beautiful, mountainous country in South Eastern Europe.  It is bordered by Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo and Macedonia,
In 1991, Albania experienced political changes in the Communist era, and until then it was very isolated from international communities.
The Republic of Albania became established, and open to visitors  in 1991.

As usual, for more photos, and more information about the dolls, please see the website.  Thank you.
