Today I am listing dolls from ALGERIA, THAILAND, TURKEY and ROMANIA.

Each time I list new dolls I try to give a variation of countries and continents.  Today's dolls are from AFRICA, ASIA and EUROPE and are dated from the 1950.s, '60's and '70's.

Today I am listing dolls from CAMEROON,  TUNISIA,  SINGAPORE, and TAIWAN.

As usual I like them all, but I particularly like the little doll from Taiwan, at the bottom of the list.  She is a real character!

As I am not able to go walking at the moment due to a fall (or should I say a skid?) coming off a very icey wooden bridge on a walk a couple of weeks ago, I am now hoping to catch up on cataloguing and listing more dolls!

I hope you are all enjoying the New Year.  I wish you all a very happy "Doll-hunting Season".

I am sure you are all familiar with that certain feeling which you get when you find an interesting doll.  I had that very feeling when I found the beautiful pair of Austrian dolls (below).  It really gave be a buzz.  I fell in love with them instantly!!  I hope you will like them too.  They are such delightful little characters!

I have added a New Page onto my Blog - "MY MINIATURE KNITTING (commissions taken").  To view the page, please click onto the title: "MY MINIATURE KNITTING" (commissions taken) at the top, right hand corner of this page.

I have always enjoyed knitting, since I was a child.  I particularly like miniature knitting and it occurred to me that not everyone likes knitting, so I thought I would knit for anyone who may be interested.  All my knitting is 1/12th. scale.

I would be able to knit any of the items shown on the New Page, with the exception of the "Edwardian-style wedding dress" which took me a total of one hundred and seventy seven and a quarter hours to complete, and the veil took me eighty eight hours to complete.  (It was knitted with sewing thread).
