OOPS! On my last Blog I showed you the inside of my Irish cottage, which I said wasn't on my website. I must have had a "senior moment" then because it IS on my website, so apologies for that! This time I will show you the kitchen in my 1940's house which I designed and made myself. That is DEFINATELY not on my website!

WYNFORD
(the kitchen in one of my dolls houses)
I designed and made this dolls house in the 1930's style but made the furniture in the 1940's style, based on furniture which was in my own home during the 1940's. (I made the house in 1990).
I have made all the furniture including the gas cooker and the sink, and also the geyser over the sink. I grooved the floor to simulate quarry tiles.
The only things I didn't make in this house are the dishes and pots and pans.
I called the house "WYNFORD" after the late Wynford Vaughan Thomas, a well known war correspondent and raconteur.
I hope you will like it. Carole.
