DOLLS FROM GHANA, A "JAY" DOLL FROM IRELAND, and dolls from ENGLAND

Today I am listing dolls from GHANA, IRELAND, and ENGLAND.

The two dolls from ENGLAND are made by PEGGY NISBET.  The one in the "POL:ISH" costume is NOT an authentic costume, but I have added her here for you to see that costume dolls are not always a true representation of the country which they are intended to represent.  Having said that, she is a pretty doll wearing a colourful outfit.

DOLLS FROM ENGLAND (Welsh costume), GERMANY, U.S.A. and ESTONIA

Today I am listing a doll made by the well known British doll maker - PEGGY NISBET.  (It is one of the Happy Doll" series).  The doll was made in ENGLAND, but is dressed as a Welsh dancer (Wales).  I am also listing dolls from GERMANY, THE UNITED STATES, and ESTONIA.

I have recently acquired a collection of PEGGY NISBET dolls, which collectors of these dolls may find of interest.  (Please note: they are NOT for sale).  They are all dressed in national costumes of various countries.  I will be adding them onto my website as soon as possible, along with other foreign costume dolls.

SAI BABA DOLL FROM INDIA, and DOLLS FROM TAIWAN and ESTONIA

Today I am listing a beautiful SAI BABA doll from INDIA, a doll from TAIWAN and a little half-doll from ESTONIA.

I find the Sai Baba doll particularly interesting.  He is so full of character.

As you all know, summer time is a very busy time.  All the extra jobs - keeping the garden tidy, doing a bit of decorating and having a bit of a "clear out" etc., can be very time-consuming.

I personally have had a very busy year so far, and given lots of Talks on my doll collection, to various groups.  I have enjoyed every minute of it but I am now looking forward to listing more of my dolls onto my website.

DOLLS FROM RUSSIA (Siberia), MEXICO, SWITZERLAND and SWEDEN

Today I am showing you my new dolls from RUSSIA (Siberia),  MEXICO,  SWEDEN and     SWITZERLAND.
I am snow struggling to find dolls which I haven't already got, but sometimes I manage to find one or two.  I hope you will like them.
I do not know which region the little Swedish doll is from, so if anyone can let me know, I would be very grateful.

MY RECENT WALK IN MID WALES:

I did a 10.5 mile walk a couple of days ago, in my beautiful Mid Wales.  The first photo below shows one of the hills which we had walked over (on the centre of the horizon).

I am not certain where the hat is from.  I think it may be from Iran or Afghanistan, but I am not certain.  It is decorated with small mirrors.

Just a few pictures from one of MY RECENT WALKS.  We were lucky enough to see a new born lamb just a few SECONDS old. We saw him on the ground, first.  The Mum was just cleaning him up.  What a wonderful sight!

DOLLS FROM NEW ZEALAND, AUSTRIA, BULGARIA, and ENGLAND

Today I am adding dolls from NEW ZEALAND,  AUSTRIA,  BULGARIA and ENGLAND.
A  couple of the dolls are little hard plastic vintage dolls. Although they are made of plastic, I personally think they have a certain charm all of their own, and I also believe that some of the plastic made many years ago was of good quality.
